Most college students are interested in voting but they’re faced with a process that is new and with rules that are confusing. The Creative Campus Voting Project clarifies the voting process, creates community, empowers peer-to-peer learning, and prompts action. I used skills in narrative and visual design along with the capacity to think sideways to develop non-partisan designs for students with a variety of voting backgrounds. I developed a visual system of messaging to be shared across campus, created spot illustrations for website use, designed maps, and created zines to help make information more accessible to students.
